Charlie....I noticed that this guy said it was okay to cross your ankles when you have the armbar in place but I was told not to do that in class.
Can you tell me your opinion on this?
I'm also on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/Proffes
depends on the armbar, and the way you are applying it. It is important to curl the legs, many newer students will cross their ankles and straighten their legs because of it, forgetting the leg curl. also crossing the ankles when doing an armbar off your back will sometimes take your leg off the back of your opponent's neck - making it easier for them to escape.
This is a great move used to use it all the time
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow"
