another variation of the trip to scissor combination.

finish
you lean in for an outside trip
he take the leg you wanted to trip away, leaving his other leg in front.
time to post your hand while keeping a firm grip on your opponents neck or back. make sure you post as close to in line with your opponents legs as possible.
finish the scissor takedown with an inverted heel hook.

Awesome vid, Reilly. In sport or combat Sambo, do they have the rule about having to put a hand on the ground before attempting a scissor takedown?
no you dont. but i have a firm belief that posting improves your scissors greatly, for a few reasons. i go over it in my new DVD
