Back Spin Knee Bar Entry To Forward Roll Back Attack

Every now and then when we are searching the internet to bring you the coolest and newest fighting techniques we find a  entry that make us say to ourselves, "Why didn't we think of that?".  This entry to the back is one such technique, check it out and let us know what you think. We are sorry, but unless you speak Portuguese, you'll have to just watch the technique without understanding the audio.

In 3 Weeks, Everyone Will Be Drilling This...

To see more, go to http://www.KimuraTrap.com and sign up to get the latest Kimura Trap System news and previews.

I will be releasing FOUR of my favorite techniques off my Kimura Trap System, so you definitely will want to be signed up so you can watch the moves and study them when they come out.

What do you think about this?

I'm super excited to be able to share this with people outside of my academy and would love to hear what you have to say. At the very least, a TTT would do. Smile

The "Sinistro" Triangle Is Sinister

It must be the unofficial triangle week here on Lockflow, as this is the third triangle technique that we have posted this week. We had to post this technique because it is pretty cool. It's not as cool as that sweater you got from your grandma last christmas, but it is almost as awesome. Check it out and watch the guy who has the nick name "Sinistro" (also cool) show you how to triangle a guy that likes to hug you in a body lock you when you have the mount position. By the way, having the mount position is cool too.

Your De La Riva Is No Good Here

de la riva guard

You know you hate it when you are standing over your opponent getting ready to pass the legs and all of a sudden they bust out the dreaded De La Riva Guard.  Worry no more LF'ers, here is a sick calf slicer attack that will soon have them tappin' the mats.

Thanks to Robson Moura Black Belt & Pro MMA fighter Prof. Rodrigo Praxedes and Phuket Top Team for the video.

Learn Lauzon's Spectacular Triangle In This Gracie Breakdown

The triangle choke has ended many MMA fights and grappling battles. Who can forget the finish to Silva vs Sonnen 1 right? The triangle choke that was nailed by Joe Lauzon on UFC of Fox 4 on Jamie Varner earned him $50,000 as well as an additional $50,000 for fight of the night. That's a $100,000 Triangle!!

Not only did Joe take home the victory and a cool 100 grand with his triangle choke, he was also the subject of the latest edition of the Gracie breakdown, check it out.

The Breakdown Of The "Cursed" Arm Bar.

London is a cool place, not only are they hosting the 2012 Olympics but London also has Danielle West.  What's that, you dont know who Danielle West is? Well then, read on.

A while ago we here at Lockflow.com posted a pretty cool video of Danielle "The Cursed" West nailing a sick armbar against Irina Mollukwu in live competition. If you missed that video, you can watch it HERE.

Luckily for us, the guys over at MMAPlus chased down Danielle in and got her to breakdown this crazy step over armbar on video.

Wrestling Techniques For The Grappler

If I was asked, "What area of your game needs the most work?", it would take me about 1.5 seconds to answer. Wrestling.

I remember growing up as a youngster as student of Taekowndo, wearing my dobak and making fun of the guys in the singlets that were rolling around on eachother. If I would have only known...

Inverted De La Riva / Berimbolo To The Back

The "Berimbolo" is the "it" technique in grappling right now. Before the Berimbolo, it was the "Rubber Guard","The Peruvian Neck Tie", "The Twister" and before that it was "The D'arce". A long, long time ago the popular techniques of the day were "Reclaiming Guard", "Mount Escapes", "Position Control" and "Guard Passes".

I'm being a bit cynical in that top statement, but I'm stressing the importance of basics. It is cool however that our sport that we love is constantly evolving, providing new innovative techniques to practice and to be aware of.

Half Guard Position Flow Drill

We have had a few instructional videos from these guys over the years and they always do a nice job of breaking down their techniques. This video is nice as the move is shown twice with two different grapplers explaining their way through the steps. Both guys have a little different emphasis on the exact same move, so we get a little variety. This time they cover a nice half guard sweep/reversal flow drill. As the boys over at TrainFightWin.com explain, the half guard is a very important position to be proficient at as it seems to always be just one move away.

Unconventional Sweep To Optional Reverse Grip Kimura

This is one of the best things I like about Lockflow. There is this grip that I have been working on and when I woke up this morning to do my morning Lockflow.com ritual, I found another slick option from this same grip by Dr. Sick. Oddly enough, I call this grip the 'Rev' grip, a shortened name for word reverse.

Dr. Sick does a great job of breaking down this reversal and also plugs a two day workshop, If your able to go, you should, as Brian also puts out class material.
