49 Kimura and Americana Attacks in Less Than 6 Min - Jason Scully

Hey,

Back again with another "Short But Sweet" reference video.  What do I mean when I say short but sweet.  These videos are short videos in length but filled with a ton of ideas and demonstrations.

If you haven't seen my others videos like this, be sure to find my YouTube channel and check them out.  There are a lot!

This one covers one of the most common submissions in the game….KEYLOCKS! In this category you'll find Americanas and Kimuras from a ton of different situations.

Bag O' Tricks

Be a fly on the wall in this video which has a few sneaky grappling moves shown in this Lloyd Irvin "This week in BJJ" video.

Props to Lockflow member graciejjbrazil for the find!

Kimura Submission From Different Places - Jason Scully

What I love about most submissions is that fact that they can be hit from so many different places and so many different scenarios.

I have a student that is so good at doing the kimura that we call him "Special K" haha.  He hits this submission from EVERYWHERE!

So here is a follow up to my first Kimura Concepts video that I called Hunting For the Kimura.  If you didn't see the video…definitely check it out!

Take the Back and Choke with One Arm Choke off the Kimura Trap

Taking the Back off The Kimura Trap is one of the best attacks and provides for a very smooth flow.

This particular back take is also combined with the one arm choke, a variation of the rear choke that immobilizes both your opponent and puts him ready to tap. This is the same choke I used to tap out Tarsis Humphries at ADCC.

The Kimura Trap Against the Head Inside Single Leg

The Kimura Trap Against the Head Inside Single Leg

The Kimura Trap System is very powerful submission series that will have you hunting for Kimuras from every angle.

Using it to defend takedowns is one if it's strong points.

Check out how you can counter a head inside single leg and put your opponent "in the trap."

In my next video, I will show you how to finish the trap and get the tap.

In 3 Weeks, Everyone Will Be Drilling This...

I will be releasing FOUR of my favorite techniques off my Kimura Trap System, so you definitely will want to be signed up so you can watch the moves and study them when they come out.

What do you think about this?

I'm super excited to be able to share this with people outside of my academy and would love to hear what you have to say. At the very least, a TTT would do. Smile

Unconventional Sweep To Optional Reverse Grip Kimura

This is one of the best things I like about Lockflow. There is this grip that I have been working on and when I woke up this morning to do my morning Lockflow.com ritual, I found another slick option from this same grip by Dr. Sick. Oddly enough, I call this grip the 'Rev' grip, a shortened name for word reverse.

Dr. Sick does a great job of breaking down this reversal and also plugs a two day workshop, If your able to go, you should, as Brian also puts out class material.

*VIDEO* My Go-To Submission

I have mentioned before that I am a big fan of specializing

As the saying goes, "A Jack of all trades is a master of none."

I have been working on this particular technique for over 6 years now, and I am still making breakthroughs!

If you know me, then you it's name - the Kimura.

At a first glance, the Kimura is a very basic, white belt technique.

Who better to show us a takedown into an arm lock than the "Arm Collector" herself, Ronda Rousey. Thanks to www.Sherdog.com for the video.
