Lockflow Submission Challenge #5 Is August 25, 2012
|14023 Midvale Avenue North Seattle, WA 98133
The concept of the tournament is unique. The competitors can compete with or without a gi. Competitors that wear a gi may use it in their submission attempts or have it used against them. Competitors without a gi cannot have their clothing used against them. Each match will be 5 minutes in duration for novice and intermediate and 7 minutes for the experts.
Points will be received for each submission finished. Submission are worth 3 point each. Competitors will compete until 9 points are reached or until the time has elapsed. Draws will result with 1 point per competitor.
The two competitors that have scored the most cumulative points in each division will compete in a sudden death match with no time limit. The winner must tap the other out. This could result in some very long championship rounds.
The winner of each Expert Men’s Adult Division will be invited to compete in the Absolute Division* at the completion of the tournament (free of charge). The winner of the absolute division will recieve the Lockflow Submission Challenge 4 Championship belt.
