MMA Madness TUF 6 Q&A: Coach Matt Serra
UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra is one of the two coaches on the sixth season of Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter reality show, which begins tonight at 11 PM EST. Serra spoke to MMA Madness writer Crystal Hudson last week by phone about his role as a coach on the show. Affable and outspoken, Serra also shared his thoughts on his feud with Matt Hughes, his decisive victory over Georges St. Pierre, and why this season of The Ultimate Fighter may be the best ever.
(Note: Spike TV had a PR person on hand during the interview. The Spike TV representative was presumably present to make sure no information about TUF 6 was accidentally leaked during the course of the interview and the representative did in fact disallow Serra from answering one of MMA Madness’ questions.)
MMA Madness: Hi Mr. Serra. How are you today?
Serra: I’m pretty good. How are you?
MMA Madness: Everything is good. How’s life as a newlywed?
Serra: I can’t complain. If I complain already, that’s not a good sign, right?

I hate pajama clubs !
I was glad to see matt loose because at that time he needed to remember what it felt like. to watch gsp loose like he did was a different story in my mind gsp wasn't mentaly prepared. i think serra doesn't have a chance. if matt h. keeps it on their feet then serra has no chance.
Matt is one down to earth guy. You can really get that sense reading his interviews. He doesn't say much that most poeple dont already know though.
