Get JAKT! - A Product Review and Contest for JULY!

Since Mixed Martial Arts has become mainstream, we have seen a huge influx of new "Edgy" T-shirt designs.
It seems that if you can come up with a catchy name, a snazzy font and throw on some skulls, crosses and wings... your in business.

JAKT was the latest company to send me a few T-shirts for review. A small pink "Survive or suffer" ladies shirt and a XL Blue "Swords of The Samurai" shirt.

I didn't look very good in pink, so I gave the "Survive or suffer" shirt to Lockflow's own, "Slick". She said that she loved the feel of the material and liked the fact the the shirt was longer, as she has had some experiences with other shirts riding up on her.

The  "Swords of The Samurai" shirt went to one of C3's coaches and undefeated fighter, Jeremy Pigeon. Jeremy got a smile on his face when he put on the shirt and when I asked him if he liked it, he said "F___ Yeah!!! ", Jeremy has always had a way with words.

I love the name of this brand, JAKT. It like the fact that is doesn't have the words Killer, Death or Bleed in it.

The print and screen quality on these shirts is amazing, you can tell that you are wearing a quality garment.

On Jeremy's Sword of the Samurai shirt the logo was embroidered in, nice touch.

Going through the Jakt Website at www.jaktapparel.com I found tons of great looking clothes! I also found out that one of their sponsored fighters was Chris Hordecki, whom I've been a fan of since I reffed him in the IFL- that earned JAKT a bonus point.

If your a fan of the skulls and wings, they have a few shirts that will surely fit in your collection.

The prices are a little steep, Jeremy's shirt goes for $49.99 while Slick's is now on sale for $39.99, but like I mentioned before, the quality on these shirts is amazing!

I have always been a fan of brands that aren't being worn by everyone, and I would definitely wear some of JAKT's shirts and shorts without feeling like a poser.

This Month's Contest:

This month's contest is easy, it is a picture caption contest with two rules:

     - You must provide the picture to Caption, it can be any picture as long as it does not violate Lockflow rules.

     - The Caption must have the word "JAKT" in it.

If you can incorporate Lockflow somehow in either the Picture or the Caption you may get extra credit.
