Sally Krumdiack vs Hiroko Kitamura this Saturday
Sally Krumdiack puts her #6 world ranking up as she faces undefeated Japanese fighter Hiroko Kitamura.
The fight is set to take place at the Legends Casino in Yakima, Washington this Saturday. This is the second time that Sally has faced a fighter from Japan.
In her last fight in Tokyo, Japan - The Japanese referee misunderstood an answer to a question he asked Sally while she was fighting Saori Ishioka and stopped the fight. Even though the referee admitted to making a mistake, the Jewels organization would not overturn or No-Contest the bout.
Sally was originally slated to face Tammie Schnieder, but Tammie pulled out at the last minute. So the call to Japan was made. When contacted for a fighter to face Sally, Japan offered up Hiroko Kitamura, a 4-0 fighter with strong stand up and good ground skills. So the match was made. Hiroko is a training partner of Saori Ishioka, and should prove to be a good match up for Sally.
The Fight is For Sally's UMMA Title.
