Ageless Mobility by Scott Sonnen
Ageless Mobility
Even though I have read many excellent reviews on this exercise/stretching program I wanted to give a Martial Arts perspective review. “Ageless Mobility” is a follow along sequence to full body stretching by the Master of Sport himself, Scott Sonnen. The Ageless Mobility program last about 80 minutes of full body active stretching. I bought this program because after 15+ years in the military and 11+ years in Martial Arts everything aches and every body part is slightly broken. I was looking for a non surgical, non drug way to reduce pain, so I can continue my military career.
To detail a couple of my personal testimonials, Coach Sonnen demonstrates angles and sequences of neck stretches that took away the soreness of a pretty nasty neck crank. This program worked where ice, heat, massage had failed and saved me a trip to the doctor, simply awesome. As any of you guys and gals that work the heavy bag can attest to your shoulders and back muscle get torn up. Coach Sonnen’s attention to the little details in his shoulder and back stretches demonstrates his tremendous knowledge of kinesiology and he puts it “ensures every joint gets it meal”. I believe the key to why this program is so successful because of its unique sequence of exercises that are obviously well researched and masterfully demonstrated; attributes that are hard to find in a “modern day exercise program”.
Just one Ageless Mobility workout a week has allowed my body to recover in such a way that has allowed me to work out more frequently and with more intensity in the past several weeks then I have in years. If you are looking for the same solution I am, then the Ageless Mobility program is for you.

My instructor utilizes Sonnon's methods. He's 52 and has been doing martial arts for nearly 40 years. He's a brown belt in bjj and recently had orthoscopic surgery on his left shoulder. He's uses Scott Sonnon's Prasara Yoga mobility methods. We also utilize Sonnon's clubbell, kettlebell, and his MMA Saddle Leg lock methods.
Sonnon's methods are great for prehab and rehab training. Great stuff.
I like scotts stuff but are they tap dancing on the front cover. JAZZ HANDS !!!
JP
I thought it was called spirit fingers?
i think spirit fingers is an advanced version of jazz hands. it requires more dexterity and concentration.
When you're a jet, you're a jet all the way...........
... from your first cigarette to your last dying day!!!!
but seriously... i think it looks more like that part in thriller when they creep toward the screen all together.
looks interesting. i need the flexibility....but what happened to his feet? when you enlarge the photo his feet are missing. ..do i have to give those up to gain flexibility?
He who has faith has... an inward reservoir of courage, hope, confidence, calmness, and assuring trust that all will come out well - even though to the world it may appear to come out most badly.

You guys are funny
I pray, do yoga, meditate and still want to smack people
Scott Sonnon invented fighting, so this must be good.

"Spirit Fingers" require full control over ones Chi..ESPECIALLY right before you blast Ryu with your energy ball blast.
To the reviewer...
It is spelled "Sonnon"
"Sambo: Most sports spend time chasing balls. Our sport requires them"
thanks for the good review, to be honest if I just saw that cover I would just keep walking. Looks more like a chair aerobics or sweating to the oldies kind of things. Now I'm considering getting it....ripping the cover off but definitely getting it.
