BJJ on your iPhone!

TAKE WINNING MOVES WITH YOU ANYWHERE!

With Step-by-Step Submissions you can quickly learn about grappling submissions like chokes, armbars and leglocks. These are the same techniques that end fights in mixed martial events like the UFC.

Using high-quality VIDEO instruction we show you the secrets of the most effective submissions from mixed martial arts, submission grappling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ).

Step by Step Submissions gives you 31 different setups and entries for 10 of the most effective no-gi submissions. Then, for each of those submissions, we show you the KEY DETAILS that make the difference between success and failure for each submission.

You’ll be learning from Stephan Kesting, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt instructor. Stephan operates Grapplearts.com, produces a best-selling series of grappling instructional DVDs and has authored more than 20 articles in magazines such as Black Belt, Tap Out and Ultimate Grappling.

If you purchase this application now you’ll be entitled to free updates, which will include additional submission techniques.

Also, as a special bonus, Step-by-Step Submissions includes a link to download Stephan’s book, “A Roadmap for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,” for free!

Thanks for the review, I might have to get this one!!!!!!!!!!!

its cool, but I can't believe Stephan thought that it was a good idea to try and sell this app for $20!

24 wins! Dominic Cruz better watch out!

Is this only available on the Iphone, or is it available elsewhere? I use Windows Mobile and would definitely buy it if it were to be released on that platform.

this is not a review. it is posted text from the itunes store.

thenatural32:
this app is only 99 cents not $20.

not a review?????....Booooooo!

Reilly:

I know, but in one of Stephan's beginning BJJ E-mails, he mentioned that he tried to convince people that they should sell it for $20.00

I purchased this app, and for 99 cents it was worth it. All the techs a very basic but show good detail to each. No sweeps, no escapes, and no passes, just submissions. Add them in with a total of 100 techs and it would be worth $20.

im sorry to be a whistle blower, but the user 'Biff Tannen' has not posted any forum comments, or any thing else accept this 'review.' the account was clearly created to past this as an advertisement for the product as it is exact text from the itunes description. that's pretty lame.

I just got a chance to check this out today. I'll post a review asap.

Hey everyone, this is Biff, sorry about that review - I was in a rush and didn't take the time to check out how the others were written to see if they were personal or not. Heh, guess that what review means. Anyway, my bad and to set it straight, I do use this app. It takes a bit to download because the file size is quite large BUT you are getting over 40 videos. Each video is approx 1- 2 mins long. The quality is great and the instruction is precise. There is also a free e-book to for beginners but for me the video and ease of use is what makes it incredibly useful. I use it normally warming up on the elliptical to brush up - for every submission there is a key to the technique. i.e. the stuff that gets overlooked. Anyway - it's a great app to carry around with you and a steal at this price. So again my apologies for the cut and past - crow has been eaten.

I talked with Stephen yesterday and he said that his app is currently the #1 sports apps download. Seems to be well received...although he totally downplayed it. Stephen is both skilled and humble.

I have bought everything the guy has put out.
I'm getting an Iphone on Tuesday and this will be one of the first Apps I get.
I wonder how it updates?
Anyway...Stephen Kesting is a good guy and all about sharing the sport he loves.
I didn't mind the cut and patste...it's just good to know this is out there!
