I think that is a "Bodok"- a variant of the firemans..there are some really slick examples of that throw- or similar- here..
that is a great throw for no-gi too from a Russian tie.
I like it from a cross grip on the sleeve and grip on the back of the jacket and then really butting them over with my head in their armpit area instead of gripping the leg: that can lead to some very quick armbars. It is a very good throw with lots of variants!

I just noticed the school logo is an Urban Search and Rescue X-Code. I would thing think that's macbre anywhere except New Orleans - those things are everywhere.

it certainly has become a sort of symbol of New Orleans in a strange way.
i guess a sign of soliderity with the city, through hard times and good.
