The Cauliflower Chronicles
The Cauliflower Chronicles follow Carper's adventures and misadventures on the Big Island, both on the mat of the BJ Penn Academy and around the island. He quickly learns that Hawaii is not the carefree paradise advertised in brochures and finds himself feeling like a foreigner in his own country. He experiences Hawaiian fight culture from the inside, goes head to head with BJ Penn, and explores the Hawaiian Independence movement and the effects of colonization. At times sad, shocking, and laugh out-loud funny, The Cauliflower Chronicles is a must-read for both sports fans and travel buffs, showing a side of mixed martial arts and Hawaii not available anywhere else.

Please come back and do another show... We miss you guys!

100 shows a year would overload the American market even if they were all free. I bet Dana is looking to develop multiple international markets over time. If the UFC can build grass roots organizations in South America, Europe, Australia, and China and they each have 15 shows a year then no single market is overloaded and 60 additional shows are added to the current 30-40 a year. It might take him another 10 years but Dana has a proven track record of setting and attaining long term business plans.

To me, Judo is like a ballet, except there's no music, no choreography, and the dancers knock each other down.

alright guys, i'm caught up now. i've got to say, the last two shows have been even more entertaining than usual, or maybe it's just the lingering effects of the moonshine.

10th dan in parnes jiu-jitsu.

After having had bad knee injuries the video from Bellator was tough to watch. Even know I am always concious of my knees, especially on the takedown.
What about y'all? What types of serious injuries have you incurred, and how did you get them?

""100 years a show""

yeah it does get expensive buying a show every 100 years

Brought over from the front page:

"Glad to see the show back. I'm quite fond of the Abbey Ale, didn't think it be up your alley since you didn't seem to care for the Three Philosophers. Anyway onto the show, I would be really surprised if the UFC could pull off 100 shows a year. I just don't think they have the roster to pull it off and still make cards that the casual would still be interested in watching. And I agree about the minor league idea, I definitely see that in the future, you kind of already have it with organizations like King of the Cage and Cage Rage but even on a local level I'm seeing smaller promotions popping up and putting on some good shows."

Great show guys!

Terere looks like a beast!, Jimmy - thanks for the technique!, Marshal, I feel your 'Guinea Pig syndrome'pain, felt like that a few times with some of my training mates.... LOL so humbling.
As far as 100 years a show goes, I agree with Jimmy I think the market is almost saturated now, I cant imagine adding this to the roster. I stopped buying PPV's a few years ago.

Great episode guys!
