No Look Punch

This is one of those techniques that is fun to do in the gym, or when "show-boating" in a fight.

You do need to be a bit careful that you set up the 'No Look' punch well and do not let the bottom person get ahold of your punching arm.

• Step 1

Brett has the Inside (or Reverse Scarf) position on Brandon
• Step 2

Brett loads his right hand for a punch
• Step 3

Brett punches Brandon in the body
• Step 4

Brett raises up again...
• Step 5

Brett now drives his right elbow into Brandon's body...Brandon's focus is now on his body - this is important when setting up the no look punch
• Step 6

Brett raises up again to make Brandon think another body strike is coming...
• Step 7

...but swings his arm behind his back and hit's Brandon in the head
• Step 8

Brett quickly returns to the inside position to keep Brandon from hooking his arm.
