Tim Sylvia spoke recently with Steve Cofield of ESPN radio and had some interesting things to say about his former training partner, Brock Lesnar, including a prediction in his upcoming fight with Frank Mir at UFC 81.
"I don’t think he’s gonna have a future in mma," said Sylvia. "I think Frank Mir’s gonna beat him.

i dont think Sylvia would have much of chance against Lenar...
oh yeah, this coming from the guy who would cry because matt hughes wouldn't invite him to fights lol....
I'm not sure that's really a fair statement. He may be boring, but he wanted to keep fighting even after Mir broke his arm.
I'm not a black belt, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
LOL man that is one big baby
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow"

i dunno... if he's a baby thats ONE STRONG BABY!!!! Anyone checked out his wrestling record? and no not the WWE one...
Mir could beat him in... well other than wrestling... all areas. But Sylvia would have problems with Lesnars... well, wrestling lol. Striking probably goes to both Sylvia AND Mir too.
I think given time and proper coaching,Lesnar could be a force.
So would Tyson.
Thanks to Chaz, Captcha's ass been capped!
I guess the Brock went and trained with the Miltich guys. they mention something about it in the ESPN Magazine about some guy from Minnesota being a pussy.

Yeah, brock is a large baby.
All haters of Tim can kiss my ass though. He's tough as a tank. Who else would fight through a broken arm?? Not you. I support Big Tim 100%.
HATE.
I agree that it does take some fortitude for Tim to want to fight on in the Mir fight but his adrenaline was probably shielding him from 90% of the pain. If he would let his heart rate slow down, I believe Tim could not have fought on.

Wow... i have never heard anyoe say that they support Sylvia.... thats friggin cool. I respect people who support their fighters no matter what.
I guess Lesnar doesnt like getting kicked, and that he cant kick. He was training with Royce Gracie... dont know if thats saying much anymore though. People can train with great fighters but still suck.
Randy Cotoure also continued with a broken arm, against Gonzaga. So Tim's not the only one.
I don't hate on Tim because he's a baby, I respect him and what he has to offer. What I don't understand is how in every interview he can say "I'm going for the KO, going for the KO, going for the KO". Then he gets to the fight and throws that long jab for 5 rounds. If you've got the jab use it, but don't say how you're going for the kill all the time when you don't.
I just want to see how Brock will do against a higher caliber opponent...To take on someone like Frank Mir in the second fight of your career is gutsy...Either Brock will just overwhelm Mir with his strength or Mir will win via submission...They both have something to prove...Brock needs to prove that he's the real deal and that he takes MMA seriously...Mir needs to prove that he's still a contender...I'm looking forward to an interesting fight...

Lesner will eat his lunch!

At least Lesnar looks like he is in decent shape compared to a guy who looks like he can't pass a buffet table.
I've seen smaller spare tires on front end loaders.
