About Me

I grew up in Casper, Wy. I spent most of my time there working on my dad's pig farm. I went to college in Laramie, Wy. where I earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming. While there I studied a traditional Okinawan style of Karate.

In 2006 I moved to Bothell, Wa., just outside of Seattle. I began training and competing in MMA in Lynnwood, Wa. in July of 2007 at AMMA.

I moved back to Laramie, Wy. in 2009 and resumed my MMA training. In August of the same year, I began to pursue a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming. I am still training and competing. In September of 2009 I won the Amateur ISCF Wyoming Middleweight title.
