About Me

my name is Mike Flowers. I have a second degree black belt in shao-lin do and I am a certified Head Instructor under Mark Hatmaker of Extreme Self Protection. My submission grappling base is from catch wrestling. I have been studying catch wrestling for the past 7 years. My striking base is from shao-lin do and western boxing and my wrestling base is amateur freestyle wrestling. i am the head instructor at The Fight Zone in St. Albans, WV. i teach reality based combatives as well as mma, boxing, catch wrestling and freestyle wrestling. i heard about lockflow from one of my training buddies and have been a fan ever since. i do alot of instructional videos for my students at my gym ranging from mma techniques to street defense. i would love to share them with the Lockflow followers and get their feedback. i can be contacted at info@thefightzone.net.
